We are happy to announce that Optical Alliance will be attending SILMO Sydney in 2017. The event is taking place at the new Sydney International Convention Centre (located in Darling Harbour) beginning on Thursday March 9 until Saturday 11. Optometry NSW is running ‘Super Sunday’ on Sunday 12th to coincide with the event.
Alongside CR Surfacing Laboratories, we are very excited to be apart of the optical fair and hope to see many familiar faces during the course of the weekend!

We are very excited to welcome Escape Travel as the newest partner to come on board to the Optical Alliance.
Beginning May 2016, members will now be able to redeem their Optical Alliance points on domestic and international flights. Simply logon to the Optical Alliance website and go to the ‘Travel’ section where you can redeem and purchase travel points through Escape Travel.
Currently, this is only available to Optical Alliance members located in Australia, but will be expanding into New Zealand in the future.
Optical Alliance believes adding a travel section supplements an already strong framework to compliment the depth of business and service providers to you the member.

A position is available for an optometrist to join the Eyecare Eyewear team and provide full scope independent optometry services to the friendly people of the Southern Downs. Our requirements are simple; we need help with eye testing. Everything else negotiable: position/partnership or part-time/full time.
An interest, or at least a healthy respect for behavioural optometry, specialty contact lens fitting (orthoK & sclerals) and therapeutic prescribing would be be great.

You need to fill the SRC registration form. Simply log in to your Optical Alliance account and redeem points by purchasing SRC Dollars towards' your registration. Optical Alliance will send you a receipt of your purchase.
This receipt needs to be attached to your SRC form and returned to Optometry Victoria for processing. It can be faxed, scanned or e-mailed!
All sections of the registration form must be filled!
